This Song..

Ok... so I was trying to use song titles for almost all my blog titles... but right now my brain is complete and total MUSH... Rachel is sound asleep... I gave her some Motrin because all our little ones appear to have colds... lots of coughing and stuffy noses... She has been an absolute DREAM... she hasn't cried at all, has laughed with us a lot, and the absolute best feeling in the world was when I held her and she put her little arms around my neck and held on like she knew me... I haven't stopped crying and smiling at the same time...

Tomorrow we have to be out of her very early in the morning. We finalize all the paperwork and hand over the bulk of our money... Oh... and she is in size 2 diapers that still look a little big, and the 9 mos PJ's I put her in are big too... only not so much in the length...

She stands up in the crib and she has 2 teeth on the bottom and a 3rd coming in on top (which would account for the stuffy nose, but I don't think the cough would be connected.. Mom, you tell me!)

so here are a few more pictures...

Again, I can't say it enough....
She is gorgeous!
I am so happy for you!
Kisses to everyone!

P.S. Don't tell anyone, but I am obsessively refreshing your blog. I hope to be cured by the time you get home.

Oh Jodi...that's exactly how Olivia was...and it is such a wonderful feeling. It's like God prepared her heart to meet you and told her that everything was fine. That she was going to be loved beyond measure and made her calm and already know to love you!! And it so looks like she's known you forever..the way she looks at you. She does look so happy and I am glad of that. Yeah, Olivia was in size 2 and then wearing 3-6 mth clothes, except for the length..6 months she wore for about 3 months so they are prob about the same size..isn't it cool to have a dainty little girl???
Hey, don't forget to ask them to put her footprint on a separate sheet of paper for your "scrapbook." It's like her first footprint and I cherish that everytime I look at it.
You are doing an awesome job of finding time to post...I can't wait to see more pics and see her in the clothes you bought her and after a bath...I guess lookin all Americanized!!! :) I'm SOOOO excited!!! I too keep refreshing...can't help it!! Now I know how others felt when we were there!!! :)

Hey! I recognize that room... it's the same one we met our Chloe in!! Congratulations! I'm so glad your long wait is over. Your pictures are the first ones I've seen where the mom is crying and the baby isn't ;) Glad everything went so well for you all!

Our Story

My photo
We are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl. I have not stopped smiling since the moment they placed her in my arms. We adopted her Sept 2008 and it's been nothing but wonderful! She is the best reason to open my eyes every day! Currently living in SW Florida. I've also become a MAJOR Twilight junkie, so now I'm told I'm a TWI-MOM & I LOVE it!
